Huntington Church came to Art Advertising, Inc. because they needed displays to go with their new sermon series. The client wanted the banner stands to be a backdrop and a visual guide to the sermon. The design requirements were to use their brand colors, use their provided wording, and that the text was large enough that the elderly could read the banner stands from the masses. As lead designer, our role was to research the church to find a sense of uniformity to their brand and produce a design to incorporate all of their brand colors. The text was laid out vertically to take up whitespace and ensure the text was large enough for every individual in the congregation. The main challenges were coming up with a design that belonged to a nearly nonexistent brand and working their colors into a harmonious design.
